KWM since 2002
Karver Wine Merchant was founded in 2002 from the shared passion of a group of friends for fine wine. From the original idea of creating a small wine shop and e-commerce business dedicated to premium products, the project has grown over the years to include a distribution network serving the Ho.Re.Ca. sector in Piedmont, a sales agency and, since 2025, a brand-new wine shop in Alba.
Our mission, however, has remained unchanged: to select and offer an increasingly discerning clientele the finest wines from Piedmont and from the world’s leading wine regions.

2002
The first wine shop
Born from the shared passion of a group of friends for fine wine, Karver Wine Shop opened in Manta di Saluzzo, with a focus on small emerging producers from Piedmont and beyond.
2005
Distribution
Alongside retail sales, Karver began distributing wines throughout the province of Cuneo. From this point on, the selection of new and emerging producers became one of its defining strengths.
2009
The new wine shop
The need for more space for both display and storage led us, in 2009, to our new location in Saluzzo — an ideal setting for the company’s continued growth.
2012
The sales agency
In these years, Karver established its sales agency — a new challenge that led us to become exclusive agents and distributors for many prestigious producers throughout our province.
2020
Exclusive imports
As our distribution business grew, so did the need to expand our exclusive portfolio with producers from around the world. This marked the beginning of direct imports from several wineries, particularly from France.
2026
The new wine shop in Alba
Our new flagship wine shop opens in Alba, in the heart of the Langhe and of Piedmont’s most celebrated wine country. A modern and welcoming space, complete with a dedicated tasting room for our guests.
